It is probably best known for Woodlawn Lake Park, which is home to San Antonio’s biggest Fourth of July celebration and fireworks show. The Monticello Park Historic District is composed of an eclectic mix of architectural styles, ranging from Art Moderne to Spanish Eclectic and Tudor Revival. As one of San Antonio’s historic neighborhoods with quick access to major corridors and downtown, Monticello Park is a fantastic neighborhood for young families and individuals looking explore San Antonio’s history and culture.
